Khumbu region is home to Mt. Everest, the world's highest peak. This trek provides some of the most beautiful mountain sceneries and, on the way to the Everest base camp, passes through Sherpa villages, stunning landscapes and monasteries. It also gives the trekkers a chance to climb to Kalapathar (5545 m), which provides superb views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu Cho you, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

1. Fly to Lukla (2887 ml and trek to Phakding

2. Phakding to Namchebazar (3446 m.)

3. Namche Bazar (for acclimatisation)

4. Namche to Khumjung

5. Khumjung to Tengboche visit Monastery

6. Tengboche to Dingboche (4343 m.)

7. Dingboche to Lobuche (4930 m.)

8. Lobuche rest

9. Lobuche to Gorak shep

10. Gorak Shep [Day trip: Kalapathar (5545 m.)

11. Gorak Shep - Pheriche (or Dingboche)

12. Pheriche - Tengboche

13. Tengboche - Namche Bazaar

14. Namche Bazaar - Phakding

15. Phakding - Lukla

16. Lukla - Kathmandu by air

GTT 11: 12113 Days (Gokyo Lake Trek)

Gokyo lake trek offers a beautiful view of the mountains, lakes, sherpa villages and their cultures and lifestyles as well as many different kinds of Himalayan animals and beautiful birds. This region is just another beautiful valley within the Khumbu region and provides a magnificent view of the Everest region.

1. Kathmandu to Lukla fly and trek to Phakding

2. Phakding to Namche Bazar

3. Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization

4. Namche - Dole

5. Dole - Machherma

6. Machherma - Gokyo

7. Gokyo - Gokyo Ri and back to Dole

8. Dole - Khumjung

9. Khumjung - Thame Monastery

10. Thame Monastery - Namche Bazaar

11. Namche Bazaar - Phokding

12. Phakding - Lukla

13. Lukla to Kathmandu fly back.
